About Us
We are a startup building a platform that connects service providers across the Maldives with customers who need them. As we prepare for launch, we are looking for a driven individual who can strengthen our online presence, shape our voice, and support our marketing activities in collaboration with our marketing consultant.

Role Overview
This is a project-based role for 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and delivery. The Marketing & Communications Associate will take ownership of content creation, social media management, public relations, and other marketing activities that support the app’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

Create original and engaging content tailored to different platforms (social media, blog, press releases, etc.)
Manage and grow our social media presence through consistent posting, audience engagement, and performance tracking
Coordinate PR activities, including drafting press releases and reaching out to relevant media outlets
Support marketing campaigns, events, and community engagement initiatives
Work closely with the marketing consultant to execute strategies and ensure brand consistency
Track performance of marketing activities and provide regular reports

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and PR
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dhivehi
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment
Familiarity with digital tools for content scheduling, design, and analytics

Contract Details

Project-basis role for 3 months (with potential extension)
Part-time hours, flexible schedule
Remote-friendly, but must be based in the Maldives
