About Us
We are a startup building a platform that connects service providers across the Maldives with customers who need them. As we prepare for launch, we are looking for a driven individual who can strengthen our online presence, shape our voice, and support our marketing activities in collaboration with our marketing consultant.

Role Overview
This is a project-based role for 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and delivery. The Marketing & Communications Associate will take ownership of content creation, social media management, public relations, and other marketing activities that support the app’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original and engaging content tailored to different platforms (social media, blog, press releases, etc.)

• Manage and grow our social media presence through consistent posting, audience engagement, and performance tracking

• Coordinate PR activities, including drafting press releases and reaching out to relevant media outlets

• Support marketing campaigns, events, and community engagement initiatives

• Work closely with the marketing consultant to execute strategies and ensure brand consistency

• Track performance of marketing activities and provide regular reports

Requirements

• Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and PR

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dhivehi

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment

• Familiarity with digital tools for content scheduling, design, and analytics

Contract Details

• Project-basis role for 3 months (with potential extension)

• Part-time hours, flexible schedule

• Remote-friendly, but must be based in the Maldives
