1. The Government of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives; Atoll Education Development Project (AEDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
2. The consulting services (“the Services”) includes all the tasks related to Infrastructure technical team in infrastructure design and contract management. The assignment is expected to be for a period of 3 (Three) year.
3. The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment is attached with this announcement.
4. The Ministry of Education now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The selection criteria are:
5.The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
6. A Consultant will be selected based on the EOI submitted and Interview process.
