Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. This role is suited for a practical, proactive professional who can supervise day-to-day site activities, coordinate labour and subcontractors, monitor workmanship, and help ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. The job requires someone who is confident on site, organised, and capable of taking ownership of daily supervision responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day site activities and monitor work progress against programme requirements.
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers, materials, and equipment on site.
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, method statements, and instructions.
  • Monitor workmanship and help maintain required quality standards across site activities.
  • Report daily progress, manpower issues, material shortages, delays, and site concerns to the project team.
  • Support implementation of site safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with site measurements, record keeping, and documentation of instructions, variations, and completed works.
  • Liaise with engineers, project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve site issues promptly.
  • Help ensure timely completion of works and proper coordination between different trades.

Requirements

  • Diploma, certificate, or relevant technical qualification or on the job experience in construction, civil works, or a related field.
  • Approximately 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision, construction execution, or contractor-side project delivery.
  • Good practical understanding of site operations, construction sequencing, and trade coordination.
  • Ability to read and follow drawings, specifications, and site instructions.
  • Strong organisational, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on site and coordinate effectively with multiple teams.
  • Commitment to quality, productivity, and safe working practices.
  • Must be willing and able to be stationed at project sites outside Malé City for extended periods, as required.

Preferred

  • Experience in resort, villa, housing, commercial, civil, or infrastructure-related projects.
  • Experience working with contractors or construction companies in the Maldives.
  • Practical familiarity with finishing works, structural works, or MEP coordination would be an advantage.
