Responsibilities

  • Implement the risk management framework
  • Continuously monitor, identify, and assess areas of significant risk
  • Maintain risk monitoring and performance standards
  • Monitor adherence of Shariah principles and rules in the takaful operations
  • Communicate with relevant Departments to report on risk related matters to management and Audit & Risk Management Committee
  • Review the compliance of the company to ensure that the company comply to the internal policies and procedures and as well as regulatory requirements

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Banking/Finance/Shariah and Law OR Advanced Diploma in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field (Insurance/Audit/Compliance)
  • Experience in Insurance Industry will be an added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to make effective presentations
