Responsibilities
Implement the risk management framework
Continuously monitor, identify, and assess areas of significant risk
Maintain risk monitoring and performance standards
Monitor adherence of Shariah principles and rules in the takaful operations
Communicate with relevant Departments to report on risk related matters to management and Audit & Risk Management Committee
Review the compliance of the company to ensure that the company comply to the internal policies and procedures and as well as regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Banking/Finance/Shariah and Law OR Advanced Diploma in Business, Accounting or Finance
Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field (Insurance/Audit/Compliance)
Experience in Insurance Industry will be an added advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to make effective presentations
Preference will be given for applicants who have completed 14 days after administering 2nd dose of Covid-19 vaccine
