The accounts executive should be actively involved in managing the allocated company accounts conduct a monthly account analysis, book close and for supervising the Accounts payables, receivables, payrolletc.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the handling of daily operation of the finance department
Account payable management and reconciliation
Daily banking activities and fund allocation
Making salary payment at the end of the month as per the policy
Handling other intercompany accounts (within the group)
Bank reconciliation
Taxes GST, BPT, WHT and all other legal payments
Assist for external Audit of Islanders Group of companies
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing.
Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
Complete the daily banking requirements.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of transactions.
Support budget and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with the other finance department employees to support overall department goals and objectives.
Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responds to inquiries from the CFO, Chairman, CEO and other company wide managers regarding financial matters in the relevant areas
Work with the CFO to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
Undertake any other duties which may be required in the position
Qualifications and Skills:
• A degree in accounting and finance or equivalent.
• Minimum work experience of 3 years.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and team-working abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Working Conditions:
• Office-based
• Working days: Sunday to Thursday, 8 am - 4 pm, Saturday 8 am - 1 pm.
• Occasional extended hours during peak financial periods (e.g., year-end, audits)
