Positions Available: SECURITY OFFICER

                               

General Requirements:

• At least 2 years work experience in the field of security.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit to endure long working hours.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.

 

Job Specification

• Maintain professionalism and consistent high standards of care
• Ensure that all issues/ incidents are logged in the system.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Inspects area of duty for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and standards, and takes corrective action when a violation occurs.
• Complies with departmental Quality Management & Patient Safety initiatives (Quality Environment Safety & Health management systems, Hospital Accreditation, Patient Safety Goals, quality indicators, quality improvement, Internal Audits, etc) and ensures that the system is maintained at all times.
• Helps to develop a culture of high quality, safety, cost-effectiveness, efficiency and efficacy of patient care.
