Surgicare Clinic is seeking a qualified, responsible, and patient-focused Registered Nurse to provide nursing care and support the clinic’s daily clinical operations. The selected candidate will work closely with doctors, patients, attendants, reception staff, and clinic management to ensure that services are delivered safely, professionally, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and record relevant medical history, symptoms, vital signs, and other clinical information.

• Prepare patients for consultations, examinations, scans, treatments, and minor clinical procedures.

• Assist doctors during consultations, minor surgical procedures, wound dressing, examinations, and other clinical services.

• Administer prescribed medicines, injections, intravenous therapy, nebulisation, and other treatments within the nurse’s authorised scope of practice.

• Perform wound cleaning, dressing changes, suture care, and other basic nursing procedures as instructed.

• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures and immediately report any concerns or changes in condition.

• Prepare and maintain consultation rooms, treatment rooms, clinical equipment, instruments, medicines, and consumable supplies.

• Follow infection prevention and control procedures, including hand hygiene, sterilisation, disinfection, sharps handling, and biohazardous waste disposal.

• Ensure that emergency medicines, equipment, and supplies are available and ready for use.

• Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, medicine records, stock records, and other required documentation.

• Assist with patient appointments, scheduling, communication, referrals, and coordination with doctors and other healthcare providers.

• Provide patients and caregivers with clear instructions regarding medicines, treatment, wound care, follow-up appointments, and general health advice.

• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times.

• Monitor medicine and consumable stock levels and report shortages, expired items, damaged equipment, or maintenance requirements.

• Guide and supervise attendants or support staff in clinical cleaning, disinfection, and patient support activities when required.

• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and assist with emergency procedures within the nurse’s training and scope of practice.

• Complete proper shift handovers, including pending tasks, patient concerns, stock issues, and other relevant information.

• Carry out other nursing and clinic-support duties assigned by the doctor, Clinic Manager, or management.

• Location: Surgicare Clinic, Ground Floor, M. Rihaab, Shaheedhu Ali Hingun, Male’
• Work Type: Shift-based (Evening: 4:00 PM–10:00 PM / Night: 10:00 PM–4:00 AM)
