Job Description

General Requirements

  • Diploma in Marketing, PR, Event Management or similar (preferred)
  • Completed GCE O/L or A’L (minimum)
  • Experience working in healthcare industry, PR, event planning, or related field would be an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

 

Job Specification

  • Communicate in person and on the phone or others with guests regarding guest complaints and resolve complaints
  • Facilitate guest complaint and feedback resolution by working together with other departments with a focus on conflict resolution and mediation
  • Monitor social media for guest complaints, and satisfaction and increase positive reviews
  • Assist with the preparation and dissemination of feedback surveys
  • Assist with the preparation and dissemination of press releases with partnering media agencies.
  • Create briefs for the PR Manager to prepare them to represent Tree Top Hospital at press conferences and attend interviews
  • Act as a liaison with media agencies to arrange meetings, press conferences, and interviews
  • Maintain an updated database of new developments within the hospital including new treatment options, high-profile medical accomplishments, as well as expansion efforts
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with the media
  • Arrange interviews with hospital administrators to ensure accurate representation of hospital administration
  • Assist PR Manager with identifying ways to improve and maintain the hospital’s positive image for the public
  • Assist the PR Manager with communicating Tree Top Hospital staff’s needs to top management by utilizing formal or informal communication channels
  • Analyze media coverage of the hospital to understand public perception of the hospital
  • Assist the PR Manager with strengthening and upholding the hospital’s current public relations policies in relation to potential crisis situations
  • Compile information and generate reports regarding cases
  • Writing, reviewing, editing, translating and updating content for company website, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
  • Any additional duties and tasks assigned by HOD
