General Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor of Pharmacy
Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital
Registered at a licensing authority
Good English communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Job Specification
Ensure availability of consumables and implants
Verification and post charging of medical consumables and implants
Control inventory levels according to consumption
Periodic stock check
Establish method of storage of materials
Expiry and non-moving material management
Ensure correct dispensing of medication, consumables and implants with clear instructions and correct billing
Counsel technicians and nursing staff on the use of medications, storage and advise on managing adverse drug reactions
Act as a liaison with surgeon and anesthetics concerning medicine orders, consumables and pharmaceutical details, adverse drug reactions and medication errors
