General Requirements

  • D Pharma / B Pharma / M Pharma
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with 2 years’ experience in a 150 bed hospital
  • Registered at a licensing authority
  • Good English communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

 

Job Specification

  • Control inventory levels and material indenting process according to consumption
  • Establish billing and pricing structures for pharmaceuticals
  • Ensure delivery of quality pharmacy services
  • Ensure the correct dispensing of medications
  • Staff roster and shift management
  • Liaise with doctors, nurses and other health care professionals to ensure the safe, effective and economic delivery of drug treatment
  • Ensure medicines are stored appropriately as per product specification
  • Participate in semi-annual stock take and its reconciliation process
  • Plan and supervise the activities in the hospital pharmacy areas
  • Update working and clinical knowledge regularly and help others to update their knowledge
