General Requirements

  • ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA or a similar qualification
  • Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience in disciplines of financial accounting, management accounting, costing, budgetary control and forecasting
  • Previous experience at a senior position in Finance & Accounts in a healthcare industry, preferably in a tertiary hospital
  • Familiar with financial software and system implementations
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
  • Ability to work under pressure and to work in a multicultural team

 

Job Specification

  • Work with departmental Managers in preparing annual budgets and revenue expenditures as well as quarterly forecasts, and in performing variance analysis
  • Work with the Head of Finance and departmental Managers to plan and direct strategic and long term goals, and to execute internal controls’ gap analysis
  • Develop and implement department/ specialty-wise performance and P&L
  • Manage master data related to department wise reports in billing and ERP systems
  • Ensure proper systems are in place to monitor fixed assets (including movements, locations, etc.) and is integrated to financial systems
  • Undertake system implementation together with integration of various systems, including but not limited to HR system, Fixed Assets System etc. to accommodate accurate, reliable and timely information – vital to effective decision-making.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Management/Directors
