General Requirements

  • Atleast 6-12 months experience in a health care setting
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
  • Medical Record/Health Information experience
  • Excellent listening and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel)

 

Job Specification

  • Attend and reply to daily Guest request in releasing records of laboratory, X-ray, CT, MRI, medications, future orders and other records requested through email
  • Receive and check daily Medico legal report, birth and death certificates and verify that the information entered is accurate
  • Complete detailed monthly inpatient discharge report for the Ministry of Health
  • Report and enter details of births and deaths to the Ministry of Health, Department of National Registration and Pension office.
  • Act as a direct focal point for government related issues or activities
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the HOD and hospital top management
  • Protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained
