General Requirements
BDS or MBBS or Degree in Healthcare Management or any relevant field
5 years of hospital experience
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a diverse environment
International experience is an added advantage
Job Specification
Assist the Medical Director in management of day-to-day functions of the Medical Services of the hospital.
Prepare necessary reports and analysis as directed by Director of Medical Services
Coordinate training programs related to medical administration and doctors
Managing and uploading rosters of doctors
Assist the Medical Director in planning, organizing and managing all Medical Services of the Hospital
Serve as an interface between the Medical and Operations Departments of the Hospital
Ability to provide operational oversight to the hospital.
Design, interpret and ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures and administrative rules.
Monitor, participate and collaborate with other departments in the implementation of JCI and other quality improvement programs.
Supervise and ensure that all clinical policies and procedures within the Hospital meet the requirements of licensing or accrediting bodies.
Utilize appropriate resources including the clinical support of the Medical Director to resolve routine medical and clinical issues and performance improvement process
Facilitate clinical audit and investigations into guest complaints and incidents.
Review and ensure the renewal of the contracts of visiting consultants.
Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations and international best practice.
Maintaining duty rosters of Consultants, Medical Officers and Allied Staff.
Keep track of Doctors leaves, ensuring adequate staffing of medical and allied staff round the clock.
