JOB OPPORTUNITY

MARINE BIOLOGIST / DIVE INSTRUCTOR

We are looking for a qualified Marine Biologist (min. BSc) who is also a Dive Instructor to join our Dive, Excursions and Water Sports Team at Vakkaru Maldives, a 5 Star Luxury Resort in the Maldives.

This is not a research or educational post, but an active in-water position.

This position is available from July 2023.

YOU SHOULD BE

• Fluent in English, any other language will be an added advantage.
• A PADI Dive Instructor or higher in teaching status.
• A qualified Marine Biologist. (min. BSc), any experience in coral nurseries or farming is a plus.
• Should have a minimum of 1 year working experience as a dive professional.
• Extremely well groomed and interested in learning and participating in other activities such as Water Sports.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated, flexible, and friendly.
• Sales and Guest Orientated.
• If you have any tattoos or piercings, they should not be visible if you are wearing t-shirt and shorts.

WE OFFER

• An attractive package which includes a basic salary, commission on gross revenue and service charge.
• An eleven-month contract.
• A flight allowance. (Upon completion of your contract)
