Job Description
General Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Sharia and Law from an accredited institution
Should hold a valid legal practitioner license
Minimum 2 years of experience within a legal practice
In-depth knowledge of regulatory law with demonstrated capacity for professional legal work in a business environment
Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate and employment law and procedures
Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Excellent communication skills in English and Dhivehi
Job Specification
Provide accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance, etc...
Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and legal material ensuring compliance with all statutory or legal requirements relevant to the hospital’s business processes
Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance
Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues
Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
Liaise with appropriate regulatory authorities on legal matters on behalf of the Company
Support the Executive Office with administrative duties when required
