Title: HR & Admin Officer Status: Full-Time

Company: Guarantee Management Pvt Ltd / Guarantee Fiberglass Fabrication

We are looking for an energetic and goal oriented individual to fill the post of HR & Admin Officer for Guarantee Management Pvt. Ltd. The company manages Guarantee Fiberglass Boatyard, the yard focuses on Repair & Maintenance of Fiberglass Vessels, FRP boat construction and Fiberglass Products Manufacturing. GFF/GMC is 100% Maldivian owned and in operation for 25+ years.

Job Description: As HR & Admin Officer, you will be expected to ensure the smooth and timely operation/completion of all HR and Admin related tasks of Guarantee Management Pvt. Ltd.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Maintain all employee records physical and digital re; employment contracts, sick leaves, paid annual leave records and etc.
  • Maintain record of visa renewals, insurance renewals and employee passport renewals.
  • Schedule leave approvals of floor staff and purchase and finalise travel arrangements for expats at best rates from ticketing agencies
  • Attend to staff related grievances and medicals concerns.
  • Create and distribute HR Policies, Guidelines and documents about company policies.
  • Maintain and keep record of all attendance records.
  • Utilize maintained records to calculate payroll data based on leaves, working hours attended, overtime worked and present it timely to Finance Dept. for processing.
  • Attend to off working hour emergencies of floor staff to arrange urgent medical care when needed.
  • Timely collection and safe storage of expat passports upon return from annual leaves.
  • Receiving of new hires from airport, arranging their transfer to worksite, subsequent medicals and insurance and visa process completion.
  • In case of repatriation, ensuring the proper depature by accompanying the staff to the airport and making sure flight is boarded.
  • Upon expat leave approval and finalizing of travel tickets, promptly calculate due salaries before departure.
  • Maintaining strict records of dues and paid records of payrolls of floor staff.
  • Coordinating and executing HR policies and specific action plans as instructed by Management.
  • Coordinating HR/Admin works throughout all the departments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience

  • Preferred 1 – 2 years experience in HR/Administration Field, or any relevant fields.

Education

  • GCE O’Level 5 passes or A‘Level 02 passes (Grade C & above). OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or any relevant field. OR

Skills

  • Clear and empathetic communication skills to confidently explain information and converse with all staffs
  • Organizational skills to effectively process all paperwork/products
  • Motivation to take the initiative to approach new HR initiatives

Other skills

  • Computer skills with knowledge of MS applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Dhivehi.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Pleasant personality.
  • Should have capacity in taking the responsibility and work independently.

License

  • Motorbike Valid license is an added advantage

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment
  • Expected to travel to Thilafushi Site for HR/Admin related tasks.

Work Hours

  • 8-hour shift
  • 9am – 5pm with break from 12-1pm
  • Weekdays except Friday

Salary: 8,000 – 10,000 depending on qualification & experience.
