About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive HR Officer to manage and oversee daily HR operations. You will maintain employee records, ensure policy and legal compliance, handle employee relations, support staff engagement, and supervise HR processes. This role serves as the first escalation point for employee matters and provides guidance to HR Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance of accurate employee records including personal details, attendance, leave, and benefits.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with labor laws and data protection requirements.
- Handle employee queries and provide guidance or escalate issues to HR Manager.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee employee engagement activities and events.
- Manage employee relations, including complaints, grievances, and disciplinary actions in consultation with HR Manager.
- Support implementation, enforcement, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and employment standards.
- Oversee Xpat system tasks for work permits, renewals, and business visas.
- Prepare HR reports, workforce data analysis, and presentations for management.
- Provide support and guidance to HR Assistants in day-to-day operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of HR operations/administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
