Perform daily temperature checks for all students, staff and visitors upon arrival, ensure accurate record-keeping, and take appropriate actions as outlined in the school’s health policy.
Providing direct care and medical attention available at school to students who report feeling unwell while at school.
Assessing and recording student health complaints, informing parents as necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's medical information, health status, and any health-related incidents.
Preparing and submitting an annual health report in accordance with the school regulatory requirements
Supporting school activities by providing first aid services and ensuring student safety and well-being.
Coordinating with school administration to accompany or arrange transport for students requiring hospital care during school events or emergencies.
Ensure the preschool environment is safe and secure, conducting health and safety checks, and adhering to health regulations and child protection procedures.
Inspecting the school premises regularly to identify and eliminate mosquito breeding sites.
Measuring and recording students’ height and weight once every term, maintaining comprehensive growth records.
Managing the health room in collaboration with the budget section, ensuring adequate supplies, cleanliness, and availability of first aid items.
Monitoring the expiration dates of medicines and supplies used in the health room and replacing them as required.
Educate staff, parents, and children on hygiene, nutrition, illness prevention, and basic life support.
Actively participating in team activities and contributing to tasks requiring collective effort.
Minimum Requirement:
Diploma in nursing, Community Health, Primary Health Care or Public Health (MQA approved)
Valid nursing license/registration with the relevant national authority
Ability to prepare health reports, maintain medical records, and document incidents professionally.
Excellent communication skills to interact with young children, parents, teachers and staff
