Smiles Dental Care – Male' & Hulhumale' Branches

Smiles Dental Care is looking for a warm, professional, and highly organized Patient Concierge to join our front office team.

As one of the longest-serving dental care providers in the Maldives, operating since 2003, Smiles Dental Care is now strengthening its patient experience with a more hospitality-focused and premium customer service approach.

This is more than a traditional receptionist role. The Patient Concierge will be one of the first points of contact for our patients and will help create a calm, welcoming, organized, and professional experience from the first call or message to the final checkout.

About the Role:
- The Patient Concierge will manage front office coordination, patient communication, appointment scheduling, billing support, documentation, and daily patient flow.
- We are looking for someone who is well-spoken, pleasant, calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and assisting patients in a warm, professional, and respectful manner
- Handling phone calls, walk-ins, emails, WhatsApp messages, and social media appointment inquiries
- Scheduling appointments efficiently and coordinating with dentists, nurses, and the clinical team
- Managing patient check-in, appointment flow, and checkout experience
- Supporting billing operations, payment coordination, and care documentation
- Maintaining accurate patient records and appointment information
- Following up with patients regarding appointment confirmations, reminders, pending treatments, and rescheduling
- Handling patient concerns or complaints calmly and professionally
- Supporting a smooth, organized, and premium front office experience
- Working closely with the team to maintain high standards of patient care and service

The Candidate We Are Looking For:
- Fluency in both Dhivehi and English
- A strong hospitality and customer care mindset with a pleasant, warm, and professional personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good teamwork and a positive attitude
- Confidence in handling phone calls, messages, and face-to-face patient interactions
- Good computer skills and the ability to use billing, scheduling, or clinic management systems
- Ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment
- Professional grooming, personal presentation, and communication style

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following:

Option 1
- Minimum 3 A’ Level passes, including English, Dhivehi, and Mathematics
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience

OR

Option 2
- Minimum 3 O’ Level passes, including English, Dhivehi, and Mathematics
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
- Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Are aged 26 and above
- Have previous experience in hospitality, healthcare or customer care roles
- Have experience handling appointment scheduling, billing, documentation, or customer follow-ups

What We Offer
- Salary between MVR 9,000 and MVR 13,000, based on qualifications and experience
