General Requirements
Diploma or B.Sc. in Clinical Neurophysiology Technology
Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
Registered at a licensing authority
Good English communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Job Specification
Conduct tests or studies such as electroencephalography (EEG), video EEG monitoring for long hours, polysomnography (PSG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), evoked potential (Eps), electromyography (EMG), and intraoperative monitoring (IOM)
Calibrate, troubleshoot, or repair equipment and correct malfunctions as needed
Clean and maintain equipment (EEG machine and accessories)
Perform positive airway pressure titration studies and score polysomnographic studies
Indicate artifacts or interferences derived from sources outside of the brain, such as poor electrode contact or patient movement, on electroneurodiagnostic recordings
Submit reports to physicians summarizing test results
Assist in training technicians, medical students or other staff members
Provide support to the Diagnostics Team as a whole
