General Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Finance or related Field
Minimum 5 years’ background in relevant field of which 3 years in a Supervisory role
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage
Excellent communication skills & proficiency in English (written & verbal)
Local & Foreign Insurance knowledge
Job Specification
Manage day-to-day operations of the Credit & Claims Department
Oversee and streamline collections processes
Evaluation and management of Credit Applications and Credit Agreements
Evaluation and tracking of all Insurance arrangements.
Accounts maintenance, bookkeeping and reconciliations
Responsible for relationship building and management with the Debtors
Responsible for keeping in continuous contact with the responsible parties involved as to payments due and the status of their accounts
Ensure timely claims submissions and in accordance with the payer requirements
Prepare, maintain and, submit all relevant reports, and track Credit and Claims performance
Maintain a proper audit of Credit and Claims department functions
