The Community Engagement & Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing student-focused events, campus activities, and community outreach programs. This role works closely with the Creative Lead and Assistant Manager - Sales and Marketing to support marketing campaigns, sales efforts, promote student engagement, and ensure smooth logistics and coordination for all college events.
Plan, organize, and execute student-related events, workshops, seminars, and campus activities.
Manage all event logistics including venue setup, equipment, catering, registration, and scheduling.
Ensure events run smoothly, on time, and meet engagement objectives.
Build relationships with student groups, alumni, parents, and local community partners.
Coordinate initiatives to engage the wider community in college programs and events.
Serve as a liaison between the college and external stakeholders for outreach initiatives.
Assist the marketing team and Creative Lead in promoting events and activities.
Support social media posting, email campaigns, and creation of flyers or other promotional materials.
Help produce basic promotional content for events when needed (photos, videos, graphics).
Ensure all promotional efforts follow the college’s brand guidelines under the direction of the Creative Lead.
Represent the college at public events, fairs, and exhibitions.
Establish partnerships with community organizations, schools, and relevant institutions to increase college visibility.
Maintain and expand the college’s network for future collaborations and student engagement.
Track and report on event participation, engagement, and outcomes.
Gather feedback from students, staff, and participants to evaluate success and improve future initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of events, outreach activities, and community partnerships.
Assist in implementing marketing and PR campaigns related to events.
Maintain an organized calendar of events and coordinate deadlines with the creative team.
Support photography/videography or other media coverage during events as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Event Management, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Experience in organizing events or student/community engagement programs.
Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Ability to engage with students, alumni, and community partners effectively.
Flexible and proactive, able to work evenings or weekends for events.
Basic photography/videography skills are a plus.
Successful planning and execution of events and activities on time and within budget.
High student, staff, and community participation in events.
Positive feedback from participants and stakeholders.
Effective coordination with the Creative Lead and marketing team.
