Clinical Support & Patient Care Role
- Smiles Dental Care is looking for warm, responsible, and highly organized Clinical Care Concierges to join our clinical support team. As one of the longest-serving dental care providers in the Maldives, operating since 2003, Smiles Dental Care is now strengthening its clinical operations and patient experience with a more professional, hospitality-focused, and patient-centered approach. This is more than a traditional clinical assistant role. The Clinical Care Concierge will support doctors during procedures while also helping patients feel calm, informed, respected, and cared for throughout their treatment journey. The role involves 8-hour shift duty.

About the Role
The Clinical Care Concierge will support doctors during dental procedures, assist with patient communication, help maintain clinical readiness, and ensure that the treatment environment is safe, clean, organized, and patient-friendly.

We are looking for someone who can work well in a team, communicate clearly in both Dhivehi and English, protect patient confidentiality, and provide calm support to anxious or nervous patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist doctors during dental procedures and clinical treatments
- Support doctors with translation, clinical coordination, and patient communication
- Assist with taking dental X-rays, OPG, and CBCT scans (Training will be provided)
- Provide patients with oral care instructions after surgery and dental procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Support anxious or nervous patients in a calm, respectful, and reassuring manner
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment by following clinic procedures, rules, policies, and regulations
- Take responsibility for the clinical readiness of the facility, including instruments, tools, materials, and treatment areas
- Coordinate closely with doctors, nurses, front office staff, and the wider clinical team
- Support smooth patient flow and high standards of clinical care

The Candidate We Are Looking For:
- Fluent in both Dhivehi and English
- Strong teamwork skills and a pleasant personality
- Hospitality and customer care mindset
- Calm, respectful, and professional communication style
- Ability to support anxious patients with care and patience
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and organized
- Able to maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Comfortable working in a busy clinical environment
- Willing to learn clinical procedures, dental equipment handling, and patient care protocols
- Professional grooming and personal presentation

Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must meet one of the following:
Option 1
- Minimum 3 A’ Level passes, including English, Dhivehi, and Mathematics
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience

OR

Option 2
- Minimum 3 O’ Level passes, including English, Dhivehi, and Mathematics
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Are 26+ years old
- Have previous experience in hospitality, healthcare, dental clinics, or customer care roles
- Have experience supporting doctors, patients, or clinical teams
- Are comfortable with patient communication, appointment flow, and clinical coordination

What We Offer:
- Salary between MVR 9,000 and MVR 13,000, depending on qualifications, experience, communication ability, and overall fit for the role
