TERMS OF REFERENCE

Post: Assistant Officer, Operations
Reporting relationship: Head of Department
Gross Salary: MVR 9,000.00
Employment Type: Ordinary (first year on contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
• Assist with general office upkeep and maintenance, including but not limited to ensuring that the ACs, 
equipment, machinery and fixed assets are in working condition.
• Carry out maintenance of corporate vehicles, including but not limited to refueling andensuring that the 
vehicles are cleaned and serviced within the required timeframe.
• Maintain documentation and log for vehicle usage and fueling.
• Carry out administrative tasks including correspondence, documentation, updating, andfiling paperwork 
of the department.
• Provide clerical services, including photocopying, binding, printing, filing and archiving services and circulation 
of documentation to the relevant departments within the office.
• Assist with office inventory management by attending to stock requests, restocking items, and updating 
documentation and reports.
• Carrying out other work related to the department as assigned by the supervisor.

EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATION (QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE)
• 3 passes in GCE A’ Level with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the administrative field.
• 5 passes in GCE O’ Level with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the administrative field.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Dhivehi.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package.
• Ability to work as an individual and as a flexible team player.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on need.
