RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:

• Design and implement applications or new features based on requirements of the corporation.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards.
• Design and implement user interfaces for web-based/mobile applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop APIs required for integration with other information systems.
• Debug and fix issues that arise in existing software.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, and user guides in accordance with standards.
• Work with project manager and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to specification.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in software development and technologies relevant to the company.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATION (QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE):

• Completion of MQA Level 7 Qualification in Computer Science or related field with minimum 2-5 years of professional work experience in the field. Or,
• Completion of MQA Level 5 Qualification in Computer Science or related field with minimum 5-10 years of professional work experience in the field.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language and familiarity with a variety of languages.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following frameworks/libraries. React, Vue.js, Node.js, Laravel. Page 2 of 2
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and the ability to write automated tests.
• Experience with database design and management.
• Experience in UX/UI design will be an added advantage.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
