General Requirements

  • Sc. in Nursing / Masters in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse at a Licensing Authority
  • Minimum 7 years in nursing practice and minimum 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Ability to plan and prioritize
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Specification

  • Supervisory role that is accountable for efficient and effective management of operations
  • Promote effective team building strategies
  • Communicate and ensure strong positive relationships with all staff and stakeholders
  • Responsible for the coordination of guest care services
  • Analyze and assess bed status of the hospital and assign beds
  • Initiate interventions to prevent or solve clinical problems
  • Acting as a role model and a senior clinical resource for all Hospital staff
  • Workforce utilization
  • Ensure rostering practices are appropriate across all shifts
  • Identify and ensure that appropriate clinical resources are available
