The Academic Performance & Quality Assurance Executive plays a critical role in supervising and enhancing the quality of academic delivery at Maldives Business School. The position ensures that faculty performance, teaching methods, and session delivery consistently meet the standards set by the institution and the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA). Reporting to the HR Department, this role monitors teaching effectiveness, evaluates alignment with learning outcomes, and supports the continuous improvement of academic staff through structured feedback and quality assurance processes.
Observe and review academic sessions (live or recorded) to evaluate teaching quality and delivery effectiveness.
Assess lecturer performance in relation to curriculum requirements and mapped learning outcomes.
Ensure faculty teaching methods are aligned with MQA academic and institutional standards.
Provide professional, evidence-based feedback to lecturers on their instructional performance.
Prepare performance reports and work with the HR Manager and Assistant Dean to address any concerns related to teaching quality or delivery standards.
Support the implementation of faculty development programs, including workshops, training, and peer-learning initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of session evaluations, faculty observations, and compliance reports.
Participate in internal academic audits and assist in MQA compliance reporting where required.
Coordinate with Academic Heads to ensure faculty understand and meet teaching and learning expectations.|
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Leadership, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of professional teaching experience at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level, in either a full-time or part-time capacity.
Good understanding of curriculum delivery, assessment methods, and outcome-based education.
Familiarity with MQA guidelines and academic quality assurance processes.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to provide objective and constructive feedback to academic staff.
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in managing performance reviews.
