The aim of the Certificate III in Information Technology course is to provide students with the knowledge to understand and practice the occupational health and safety issues that are required in a professional IT workplace, become competent in introductory ICT technical functions and in the area of advanced use of software applications like word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics software’s like Corel Draw which will enable them to contribute to the support of information activities in the workplace as an advanced ICT user.

Eligibility:

The World Bank COVID-19 Income Support Project was initiated to assist individuals whose employment was impacted by the pandemic. 

As per the project requirements, individuals without a job or working less than 20 hours per week (at the time of application) are eligible for this assistance (please refer to the Training Program Usoolu for more information).
Funding:

100% Government Funded

Allowance:

Monthly MVR 5,000 will be paid as a stipend subject to attendance.
