Job Description

Requirements

ACCA or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Preferably in Accounting)
2 – 3 years’ work experience in a related filed
Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office advanced level; Excel, Outlook
Excellent inter-personal skills and communication skills (oral and written).
Willingness to learn and then be able to apply.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Major responsibilities

Manage and maintain accounts payable and receivable.
Perform daily bookkeeping, journal entries, and update financial statements.
Monitor budget performance and prepare routine financial and variance reports.
Analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
Verify weekly and monthly inventory reports.
Coordinate shipment receiving, clearance, and stock intake.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Perform inventory audits and investigate discrepancies.
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to reduce losses and damages.
Analyze inventory trends and generate improvement reports.
Calculate and review shipment costing, including freight and customs charges.
Liaise with finance, purchasing, warehouse teams, and suppliers to ensure accurate costing and timely deliveries.
Train and supervise staff to ensure compliance with inventory control standards.
Perform other task assigned by the manager.
