Scope of Work
The Sales and Marketing Executive will:
Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline for Thaana AI’s AI products across individual, institutional, and enterprise accounts.
Identify, engage, and build relationships with prospective clients across sectors, including government, financial services, and private enterprise.
Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
Manage social media queries and respond to inbound enquiries, and handle and nurture client accounts to support retention and growth.
Represent Thaana AI at industry events, technology expos, government digitalisation forums, and partner and client meetings — acting as the face of the company to generate leads and build brand awareness.
Prepare high-quality documentation and draft clear, compelling proposals for clients.
Apply an understanding of AI governance and compliance to client conversations, proposals, and deployments.
Maintain accurate pipeline records and provide regular sales performance reporting to leadership.
Relay client feedback and market intelligence to the product and engineering teams.
Support broader sales and marketing initiatives and process improvements as the company scales.
Qualifications & Experience
Must be a Maldivian national.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within SaaS, technology, or enterprise software.
Experience engaging with institutional or enterprise clients is an advantage.
Fluency in Dhivehi and English — both written and spoken.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with client stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline with minimal supervision.
Presales or technical background is an advantage — the ability to understand and explain AI / software products to clients.
Strong documentation skills, including drafting proposals.
An understanding of AI governance and compliance areas will be an added advantage.
Duration & Location
This is a full-time position based on-site in Malé, Maldives.
