Scope of Work

The Sales and Marketing Executive will:

  • Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline for Thaana AI’s AI products across individual, institutional, and enterprise accounts.
  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with prospective clients across sectors, including government, financial services, and private enterprise.
  • Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Manage social media queries and respond to inbound enquiries, and handle and nurture client accounts to support retention and growth.
  • Represent Thaana AI at industry events, technology expos, government digitalisation forums, and partner and client meetings — acting as the face of the company to generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation and draft clear, compelling proposals for clients.
  • Apply an understanding of AI governance and compliance to client conversations, proposals, and deployments.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline records and provide regular sales performance reporting to leadership.
  • Relay client feedback and market intelligence to the product and engineering teams.
  • Support broader sales and marketing initiatives and process improvements as the company scales.
  1. Qualifications & Experience
  • Must be a Maldivian national.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within SaaS, technology, or enterprise software.
  • Experience engaging with institutional or enterprise clients is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Dhivehi and English — both written and spoken.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with client stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline with minimal supervision.
  • Presales or technical background is an advantage — the ability to understand and explain AI / software products to clients.
  • Strong documentation skills, including drafting proposals.
  • An understanding of AI governance and compliance areas will be an added advantage.
  1. Duration & Location

This is a full-time position based on-site in Malé, Maldives.
