The Sales and Marketing Executive will:
- Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline for Thaana AI’s AI products across individual, institutional, and enterprise accounts.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with prospective clients across sectors, including government, financial services, and private enterprise.
- Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Manage social media queries and respond to inbound enquiries, and handle and nurture client accounts to support retention and growth.
- Represent Thaana AI at industry events, technology expos, government digitalisation forums, and partner and client meetings — acting as the face of the company to generate leads and build brand awareness.
- Prepare high-quality documentation and draft clear, compelling proposals for clients.
- Apply an understanding of AI governance and compliance to client conversations, proposals, and deployments.
- Maintain accurate pipeline records and provide regular sales performance reporting to leadership.
- Relay client feedback and market intelligence to the product and engineering teams.
- Support broader sales and marketing initiatives and process improvements as the company scales.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be a Maldivian national.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within SaaS, technology, or enterprise software.
- Experience engaging with institutional or enterprise clients is an advantage.
- Fluency in Dhivehi and English — both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with client stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline with minimal supervision.
- Presales or technical background is an advantage — the ability to understand and explain AI / software products to clients.
- Strong documentation skills, including drafting proposals.
- An understanding of AI governance and compliance areas will be an added advantage.
Duration & Location
This is a full-time position based on-site in Malé, Maldives.
Remuneration
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus performance-based incentives tied to sales results.
