PROJECT MANAGER / (1) TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT
Job Scope
We are seeking an experienced project manager to join our team and lead our IT and administrative projects. The ideal candidate will be an expert in project management methodologies, tools and techniques with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time, within budget and with high quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the Bank’s IT developments and projects are run on schedule, scope and within budgets from initiation to closure.
- Develop comprehensive project documentation, including project scope, project charter, project plan, project schedules, and budgets. Lead project teams, assign tasks, monitor progress and ensure project stakeholders are informed of project status, risks and issues.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, changes and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and conduct post -project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, Finance and legal to ensure project alignment with business objectives and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies and share best practices with the team and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a related field.
- 05-year experience in project management, with a focus on IT and administrative projects.
- Strong Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and MS project will be an added advantage
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements and work under pressure.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and managing project budgets and resources.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- PMP or PRINC2 certification is an added advantage.
