Job Description

Soneva Namoona is looking for a Program Manager to oversee and coordinate all the community engagement activities. The Program
Manager will be responsible for the overall implementation of the engagement component and oversight of the CCBO funded program.
Clear and transparent reporting of spending, monitoring and evaluation of progress as well as other agreed upon reporting procedures for
CCBO will be the responsibility of this individual.
This individual needs to have strong and versatile communication skills to manage and build relationships with island councils and other
stakeholders. Multi-tasking and prioritization will be necessary as they will manage a team of trainers who will facilitate workshops and
implement engagement activities at the island level. The Program Manager role will be vital to the timely success of this project.
We are looking for a professional, organized, hard-working and adaptable environmental steward who wishes to be a part of this potentially
transformative project in the Maldives.

Ideal Qualities

Knowledgeable and passionate about international development and environmental stewardship
- Specialist in behavior change programs
- Experience in writing funding applications
- Leadership experience in community engagement programs within the Maldives
- Professional and experienced facilitator
- Experience in leading trainer/facilitator training

 

5+ years’ work experience in development or educational programs
- Experience in designing, developing, and managing development programs
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Proficiency in managing program finances and budgets
- Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Excellent time management
- Attention to detail, organized, and able to multi-task
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English and Dhivehi both written and spoken
- Resourceful and with an ability to think creatively and “out-of-the-box”
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Positive, optimistic, enthusiastic, approachable, and patient
- Committed to personal and professional development
