We are looking for suitably qualified and dynamic Maldivian to fill the following position.

 

Officer – Internal Audit (1)

Location: Hulhumale’

Job Scope

Responsible for successfully completing the assigned audits and other engagements by applying adequate risk based internal audit and other assignment management techniques. Additionally, the staff is responsible for, conducting adequate risk assessment, preparing adequate plan, conducting the fieldwork, and reporting on the findings of the assigned audits and other assignments.

Furthermore, the individual is expected to assist during the annual audit planning process and to provide proactive inputs to the quality improvement program, and to improve overall efficiency of the department. Also, is responsible for carrying out any other tasks assigned by the supervisors or the Head of Internal Audit, effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Auditing or any related field OR,
• Diploma in a related field with minimum 03 years of work experience in a similar field
• Proficiency in MS office suite of applications
• Ability to plan, multitask and manage time effectively.
• Highly driven and self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• High degree of independence and positive attitude towards work commitments.
• Take lead in audit assignments with moderate or minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills, sound professional judgement and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good command of English (both oral and written communication).
• Maintain highest level of integrity and independence
