ACCA/CIMA/CIPA or any other professional accounting qualification with minimum 5 years' experience of post qualification in management role in the field of accounts & finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Enterprise Resource Planning Services (ERP) and Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in Dhivehi & English
Excellent inter-personal skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, implement and manage strategies in relation to debt collection, payment processing and banking (including GL reconciliation), credit approvals and fixed assets management.
Prepare, review and analyze financial documents necessary for credit approvals, and for the management, Board of Directors purposes.
Preparation of budget and provide support to business planning and forecasting functions
Ensure necessary reviews are done and other relevant accounting entries are posted for monthly financials and schedules/reconciliations are completed on time
Prepare and propose Key Performance Indicators (KPI) related to accounts payable, receivables and treasury function
Ensure relevant reporting under regulatory requirements in relation to cashflow movements are done on timely basis
Ensure relevant tax filings under regulatory requirements are done on timely basis
Ensure proper record keeping and compliance with relevant accounting standards and SOPs
Review and propose enhancements and changes to relevant policies and Procedures
