Job Description

Responsibilities

• Vessel Operations: Safely navigate, dock, and operate speedboats/launches under varying Maldivian weather and sea conditions using GPS and radar. 
• Guest Hospitality: Greet guests warmly, assist with luggage, and ensure on-board provisions (cold towels, drinking water, and raincoats) are fully stocked before departure. 
• Safety Management: Conduct pre-departure safety checks, ensure life jackets and emergency equipment are accessible, and lead passenger safety briefings. 
• Crew Supervision: Direct Launch Crews and deckhands in cleaning, routine maintenance, and safe guest handling. 
• Compliance & Logistics: Adhere strictly to Maldives maritime laws, monitor daily transfer schedules, and coordinate with resort management.

Typical Requirements

• Licensing: Valid local maritime license (Launch and Boat)
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience operating vessels, preferably in luxury Maldivian resorts or marine excursion companies.
• Skills: Strong navigational skills, excellent swimming ability, and proficiency in basic emergency/first-aid protocols.
• Communication: Fluency in English and Dhivehi is required for guest interactions and crew coordination.
