RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:

1. Work with the guidance of the supervisor to tackle daily troubleshoot issues.
2. Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
3. Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
4. Upgrading systems and applications to enable compatible software on all computers.
5. Installing and upgrading EDR/XDR software to ensure security.
6. Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
7. Providing support to users and being the second point of contact for error reporting.
8. Managing IT related documentation.
9. Troubleshoot printers, copiers, scanners other IT related equipment
10. Update and maintain all configuration records of relevant systems
11. Provide network solutions as needed
12. Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
13. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
14. Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
15. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of MQA Level 7 Qualification in Computing or related field with minimum 01 year of professional work experience in the field. Or,
• Completion of MQA Level 5 Qualification in Computing or related field with minimum 3 (three) year of professional work experience in the field.
