Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting CCTV systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, networks, printers, and other IT equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network problems in a timely manner.
Monitor and maintain network security, ensuring data protection and compliance with company policies.
Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard company data.
Collaborate with internal teams to implement IT projects and upgrades.
Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Keep updated of new technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for improvements.
Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patch management, and system optimizations, to ensure optimal performance and security.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, such as slow performance, system crashes, or application errors, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and monitoring software, to ensure effective surveillance and security monitoring.
Conduct regular inspections and tests of CCTV equipment, such as checking camera angles, lens focus, and recording quality, and troubleshoot issues as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
