Job Description

Qualifications and Key Responsibilities 

Qualifications 

 

• Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. 
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an IT Technician or similar role. 
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. 
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems. 
• Familiarity with networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. 
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting CCTV systems. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, networks, printers, and other IT equipment. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network problems in a timely manner. 
• Monitor and maintain network security, ensuring data protection and compliance with company policies. 
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard company data. 

• Collaborate with internal teams to implement IT projects and upgrades. 
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. 
• Keep updated of new technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for improvements. 
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patch management, and system optimizations, to ensure optimal performance and security. 
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, such as slow performance, system crashes, or application errors, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions. 
• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and monitoring software, to ensure effective surveillance and security monitoring. 
• Conduct regular inspections and tests of CCTV equipment, such as checking camera angles, lens focus, and recording quality, and troubleshoot issues as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
