Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Commercial at Medianet in Malé. The Head of Commercial will be responsible for business planning, commercial management, team management, finance, and utilizing analytical skills to drive the commercial success of the company on a day-to-day basis.

Establish relevant business KPIs for the company business to be kept on track.
Create and execute commercial/marketing strategies aimed at accelerating growth.
Study industry trends and create an effective business plan based on commercial opportunities.
Oversea and manage the commercial and sales & marketing team with the goal of improving key metrics.
Heavily involved in the motivation, drive and development of new talent within the organisation.
Develop an understanding of customers’ needs and ensuring commercial plans are aligned for business growth.
Leading marketing team to create strategies that boost the company and product awareness.
Develop partnerships with key stakeholders aimed at accelerating the company’s growth.
Assist in the development of budgets and other financial systems within the company.
Regularly conduct necessary coaching, training's to develop relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

Minimum qualification is a Bachelors degree in Business administration or a related field is a must. Masters degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5+ years in sales/marketing field with a minimum 2+ years in a senior leadership role will be required.
Experience in leading and managing teams
Strong organisational and strategic planning abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in the telecommunications/broadcasting industry will be an added advantage
