Job Description

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for the prompt and accurate banking and reconciliation of collections, reporting findings on a timely basis, and ensuring that all petty cash replenishments are in line with the Petty Cash Policy.

  • Process and verify all daily cash & receipts from front offices securely and accurately.
  • Record all incoming payments and bank transfers promptly in the company ERP system.
  • Manage partner collections, commission calculations, and ensure compliance with banking processes.
  • Handle petty cash reimbursements in line with company policy.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of assigned bank and balance sheet accounts.
  • Maintain accurate exchange rates and confirm manual/online banking transactions.
  • Investigate and resolve unknown bank transactions, returned cheques, and customer payment queries.
  • Support FOREX transactions and ensure all bank KYC documents are up-to-date.
  • Maintain organized files with all necessary financial documentation.  

Qualifications

GCE A’level or Diploma in Finance or Accounting or other equivalent qualification.

 

Personal Attributes  

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate computer skills with particular emphasis on the use of computerized accounting systems.
  • Initiative, the ability to work in a team and good communication skills are prerequisites.
  • Previous experience in a similar field will be an added advantage.

Salary

MVR 10,000 - MVR 12,800
