Job Summary:
The Boarding Officer serves as the first point of contact for arriving vessels, ensuring that all aspects of their port stay are handled efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all port-related activities for vessel arrival, stay, and departure.
- Handle all arrival and departure formalities with relevant authorities.
- Oversee cargo operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
- Arrange for supplies, repairs, and other ship services as required.
- Liaise closely with the ship’s captain, port authorities, customs, immigration, and other government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable port and maritime regulations.
Provide prompt updates and reports to management and clients.
