We are hiring two (2) skilled professionals to be seconded to a major public-sector entity to support its Fixed Asset Management Team. The assignment involves the physical verification and reconciliation of the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and contributing to the development of a reliable, centralized asset management process.

 

Job Description

• Perform physical verification of fixed assets according to a defined schedule 
• Tag all assets during the verification process 
• Reconcile verified assets with existing Fixed Asset Register (FAR) data 
• Assist in identifying unregistered or misclassified assets 
• Support the preparation and update of a centralized asset register 
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely asset reporting 

 

Qualifications

• Previous experience in asset audits, inventory verification, or accounting support functions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
• Familiarity with fixed asset systems or ERP platforms
• High attention to detail and organizational ability 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to work under minimal supervision 
• Willingness to work extended hours and public holidays as needed

 

Additional Information

• Total pay package MVR 10,000.00 -12,000.00
