Key Responsibilities
▪ Development and implementation of strategic sales & marketing plans as directed by DOSM
▪ Develop, maintain, and implement strategies/action plans to generate revenues for the resort
▪ Determine the trade marketing and sales strategy related to pricing and promoting to meet the objectives outlined in the Sales & Marketing Plan
▪ Organizing and handling site inspection for Fam trips, Media visits, Government Official visits, and VIP flagged clients.
▪ Perform sales calls & training to agents via online and face to face.
▪ Attend trade fairs at home and abroad where necessary and/or make all arrangements for this.
Required skills & experience
▪ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing OR Mass Communication OR Public Relations OR in relevant field
▪ Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales & Marketing with proven track records in a five-star resort hotel
▪ Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
▪ Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experienced using various digital platform and social media
▪ Strong leadership, analytical skills, and commercial knowledge
▪ Well-presentable with excellent PR & communication skills
▪ Strong business sense and hospitality industry expertise
▪ Maldives experience will be an added advantage
