Perform routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of fire protection systems to ensure their reliability and effectiveness.
Conduct thorough testing of systems, including pressure testing of risers, functional testing of alarms, and performance checks of hydrants and hose reels.
Diagnose and resolve issues with fire protection systems, addressing any malfunctions or deficiencies promptly.
Ensure all systems meet local fire codes and national standards.
Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, maintenance activities, and any corrective actions taken.
Provide clear explanations and updates to clients regarding system status, repairs, and recommended actions.
Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment and prevent potential hazards.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, including fire hydrants, hose reels, fire alarm systems, dry riser, and wet riser systems – will be an advantage
Proven experience in the installation, inspection, and servicing of fire protection systems – will be an advantage
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Strong ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members.
