Key Responsibilities
- Install fire hydrants, hose reels, fire alarm systems, dry riser, and wet riser systems according to industry standards and regulations.
- Perform routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of fire protection systems to ensure their reliability and effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough testing of systems, including pressure testing of risers, functional testing of alarms, and performance checks of hydrants and hose reels.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with fire protection systems, addressing any malfunctions or deficiencies promptly.
- Ensure all systems meet local fire codes and national standards.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, maintenance activities, and any corrective actions taken.
- Provide clear explanations and updates to clients regarding system status, repairs, and recommended actions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment and prevent potential hazards.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, including fire hydrants, hose reels, fire alarm systems, dry riser, and wet riser systems – will be an advantage
- Proven experience in the installation, inspection, and servicing of fire protection systems – will be an advantage
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members.
