Job Description

POSITION: STORE ASSISTANT

We are seeking a suitable candidate for the position of STORE ASSISTANT for a convenience store in Amin Avenue Oak Tower, Hulhumale’.

Responsibilities:

• Pleasantly greeting customers and assisting them with queries
• Stocking shelves and merchandise
• Attaching price tags to merchandise
• Handling delivery orders
• Ensuring the stock is constantly replenished
• Responsible for security within the store
• Reporting complaints to store manager
• Keeping up to date with promotions and putting up displays
• Maintaining the store tidy and clean, includes hovering and mopping

 

Requirements / Qualification:

• At least 1 (one) year experience in retail / wholesale shop
• Average communication skills in Dhivehi 
• Friendly and engaging personality
• Confident and comfortable dealing with store visitors
• Should be of a smart appearance and articulate
• Ability to work for long hours
• Physically fit to lift and move large amounts of stock
• Comprehensive understanding of sales in retail stores
• Ability to drive vechiles or ride bicycles would be an added advantage
