Reporting to: Manager- Administration and People Management
Key tasks, responsibilities, and deliverables:
• Implement proper procurement planning every year in coordination with relevant
teams to ensure cost-effective solicitation of goods and services.
• Carryout all tendering works in accordance with the Corporation’s procurement policy.
• Perform secretariate work of Tender Evaluation Committee.
• Identify and fully understand the details and conditions of the best procurement methods to be
used for maximized competitive bidding processes through pre-qualification exercise, i.e., Call
for Expression of Interest or Request for Information.
• Launch of Request for Quotations, Requests for Proposals, and Invitation to Bid inviting vendors
to submit their quotations/prices or proposals based on the nature of the requirements and cost
of procurement involved.
• Preparing evaluation reports, abstracts or financial comparison matrix of offers, compiling data
contained in quotations, proposals and bids to determine which supplier can deliver the required
goods/services at the best terms and lowest costs possible with due consideration to cost, quality,
delivery time, payments terms and others.
• Prepare contracts of projects in consultation with the legal and other relevant departments.
• Monitor the progress of all ongoing projects and ensure the deliveries are as per the PO/contract
terms.
• Preparing the purchase orders, receiving, storing, issuing the goods, managing the stock levels.
• Provide clarifications and advice on the Corporation’s procurement procedures and practices;
respond to queries about the status of delivery raised by the requisitioner and about payment
and other matters raised by the suppliers.
• Perform a wide range of office support for events and workshops contributing to the efficient and
effective management of the administrative and procurement activities.
• Assist HR with all travelling procedures: flight tickets, booking of hotels, processing expenses
claims, etc.
• Monitoring and supervising the work of support staff.
• Manage filing and archiving administrative and technical documents and updating registers
regularly.
• Maintain and update records of the Corporation’s assets.
• Assist in planning and organizing official events.
• Oversee all administrative tasks of official events.
• Maintain relevant internal databases and files; keep track of contractual agreements, and
purchase orders and other administrative documents.
• Carry out miscellaneous administrative tasks assigned by the organization.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• MQA level 5 or 6 with Minimum 05-years of experience in relevant field.
OR
• MQA level 7 with Minimum 01 -year experience in relevant field.
Other Competencies required:
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to adapt to
change.
• In-depth knowledge of the local business environment and supply chain.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills including processing word documents, spreadsheets, and
databases.
• Familiarity with trade, economic development, and development of the private sector in the
Maldives.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry would be an added advantage.
Remuneration package:
• Gross pay between MVR 20,000.00 – MVR 21,150.00 depending on the Qualification and
Experience.

Working Hours:
• The selected applicant will be required to work from 0800 to 1600 on weekdays.
