Terms of Reference – Sales Representative

 

Position Summary:

The Sales Representative be at the frontline of customer service and responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products and services, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets at HSC Bar2000 Showroom. We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team, with a passion for selling and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the sales process and customer relations.

 

The HSC Bar2000 Showroom showcases a premium range of Bar2000 coffee beans and pods, state-of-the-art coffee machines, and related accessories. It also features Diplo cleaning solutions, Malizia personal care products, and a selection of high-quality food items such as San Michele Olive Oil and Iskon Sunflower Oil, specially imported from Europe to serve the Maldivian market. The showroom also functions as the official display space for Bar2000’s full coffee equipment line.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell company products to new and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Visit clients regularly to understand their requirements and gather feedback.
  • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Process orders and ensure timely delivery with the logistics team.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Provide market intelligence, including competitor activities and pricing trends.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for stock availability and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Participate in promotional events or marketing campaigns as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum O-Level or equivalent qualification.
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

The role is based at the HSC Bar2000 Showroom. The Sales Representative should be flexible with working hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.

Salary                                                                   MVR 8,000 – 10,000
